Kontinent Congo (KC) is a Congolese company incorporated and headquartered in Brazzaville end of 2013. KC started its operations in early 2015 with the acquisition of its first oil assets.
The company’s investment strategy is governed by three criteria, namely: (i) acquisition of minority equity stakes (5 to 10 percent) in mature oil fields; (ii) investment in already producing oil fields; and, (iii) reliance on a capable and reputable project lead.
KC is a stakeholder in the so-called PNGF license comprising Tchibouela, Tchendo and Tchibeli fields.
KC aims to actively manage its portfolio of assets by seizing relevant investment and exit opportunities, to geographically diversity beyond Congo and to build international partnerships as appropriate.
